William B. Ryan, Jr.
William B. Ryan, Jr. ("Bill") was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and
graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He graduated from the University of
Florida with a B. A. in history. He received an ROTC commission and served
two years in the U. S. Army. He graduated from the Stetson College of Law in
St. Petersburg, Florida with a J. D. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the
Jacksonville Bar Association. He is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property,
Probate, and Trust Law Section. He has practiced in Jacksonville with the firm
of Bryant, Dickens, Rumph, Franson and Miller, in Orange Park with the firm of
Schneider, Dunay, Ryan & Marks, and in Jacksonville with the firm of Ryan
and Marks. He practices in the areas of real property transactions, estate
planning, probate, and entity formation. He serves as a special magistrate for
the Value Adjustment Boards of Duval and S1. Johns Counties, Florida. Bill is
married, the father of two grown daughters, and has one grandchild. Bill is an
active member of San Jose Catholic Church. He is a member of San Jose
Country Club and a tennis player.

Jeffrey B. Marks
Jeffrey B. Marks was born in Jacksonville. Florida. He received a BA with high honors in English from the
University of Florida and was chosen for the Academic Honoraries Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. While
attending the University of Florida, he served on the City of Gainesville Beautification Committee and helped
start the campus recycling program. He received his law degree with honors from the University of Florida
where he served on The Law Review and was awarded the United States Law Week Award for graduating
seniors. He previously practiced with the law firm of Schneider, Dunay, Ryan & Marks. In 1984, he and William
B. Ryan, Jr. formed the firm of Ryan and Marks at 3000-8 Hartley Road, Jacksonville, Florida. He is a Board
Certified Real Estate Lawyer and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Instructor. He is past Chair of the
Jacksonville Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. He served on the Jacksonville
Human Rights Commission for many years and is currently on the Board of Directors of OneJax. He has been
involved in many civic and religious activities, including YMCA Indian Guides, the Jacksonville Jewish
Federation, and the Coastal Construction Association. Jeff has the highest rating ("A V") by Martindale-Hubbell

Jeff frequently teaches classes for the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, Inc. And the Northeast
Florida Multiple Listing Service, Inc. for whom he serves as general counsel. He has also been a speaker for
The Florida Bar and a panelist for the Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund Assembly.
Jeff is married to Penny and they have two wonderful children, Sherry Goldberg and Fred Marks. Jeff is an
avid runner and fisherman, and he and Penny enjoy traveling, hiking, horseback riding, and the beach. |
